Charlie Yu

Originally from Orange County, Charlie moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to attend the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with a double major in Economics and Legal Studies. He then worked as an analyst in the energy industry and drafted state and international building codes and standards. Charlie attended law school at the University of San Francisco School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and was on law review. Charlie enjoys training for and competing in triathlons.

Charlie’s practice includes business litigation, real estate, and construction matters. He has a successful track record of obtaining insurance coverage for his clients who have been denied coverage. At his core, Charlie is an out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver. Prior to working with Hedani, Choy, Spalding & Salvagione LLP, Charlie worked as a legal research attorney at the San Francisco Superior Court and as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker of the Northern District. During law school, Charlie worked at the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office and the law firms Thelen LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP.
